Anytime Fitness is currently the # 1 franchise in the world according to franchise 500. They have been growing at an intense rate since 2002. Just by looking through all of their social media platforms, they have a phenomenal online presence. In every platform they have built a rapport of constantly updating, posting and being active on their profile.

They are active on Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram, aswell as building up a great blog. Each one of these sites they have current posts that are relevant to consumer’s interests today. One of their best features on Facebook is they understand how to CONVERSE with their target market. They are replying to comments on their posts, in a timely fashion, to show the consumer that they care about them and building their business. They are constantly CONTRIBUTING to their business instead of promoting. They are always asking members to post pictures of them working out in the gym, to create a relationship with their clients, and to make members feel like they are contributing to something worthwhile.

In my opinion, they are not just a place to workout but a place of community, just by keeping up with social media, and not only on Facebook but on all sites so they are easily accessible to build brand awareness.

Anytime Fitness definitely has an apparent strategy for social media. Creating a sense of community and involvement, for their members, and non-members to gain more memberships. Posting everyday keeps you at the front of the consumers mind, and keeps them engaged with your company, to generate buzz on social media and by word of mouth. They truly grasp the need to be up to date and accessible to all markets.
